At the end of July and right at the beginning of a hot summer to follow, LM.C invited their fans to a two-day performance at Akasaka BLITZ, whereas MJP had been able to attend the concert on the second day.

As the album title of the maya's and Aiji's most recent album had been "STRONG POP", the tour title and its overall theme of course spun on to that and it was at an instant visible when entering the venue. In large letters, the stage held a strong pop-art themed design with the band's logo at its center. First Aiji and then maya strode onto the stage amidst the cheers of their fans, that had been longingly awaiting their appearance.

No other track than "Be STRONG, Be POP." Could have opened the show better and the hall was immediately caught up in the beats and the rhythm, maya made them clap to. Rock sounds that held distinct Japanese sounds as it seems, mixed with tunes that seemed to be influenced more by western bands, created an over all cheerful mood and en exited atmosphere.

"Yeah!!" maya shouted during a short greeting towards the audience. "Are your ready to have fun? We have started the tour yesterday in this place, but are you now ready to get wild??!!" 




Of course there was only one answer that the fans could utter at that moment, which resulted in loud cheers and enthusiastic calls.

Fist pumps and head banging ensued to "dancy" rhythms in songs like "GHOST†HEART" and "Bell the CAT", whereas the crowd also answered perfectly to maya's call and response request.

"We are LM.C. It's hot, right? We haven't really been on tour during the summer until now, so we have been looking forward to it. Have you all be listening to the album? A few months have passed since the release so I think you should have. I think by now you are probably only ever listening to your favorite song anymore." maya laughed with their fans, before engaging in LM.C's first real "towel-swing-song", which was "We are LM.C!!～The Anthem of Strong Pop～". At an instant, the crowd took out their towels to swing them around as if their life depended on it. And there was no stopping LM.C!

The songs followed each other quickly, with little time for breaks if at all.





Of course one highlight of LM.C's shows is the appearance of the DENKI-MAN on stage, shooting his green lasers from his fingers, while dancing around the stage. All the while Aiji engaged in fast paced guitar solos ever so often, which came off fragile and in great contrast to the often times hard riffs and shreds during the verses of songs, giving them a distinct LM.C-feel.

"I would like to sing with your," maya said, introducing "何も始まらなかった一日の終わりに/ Nanimo Hajimaranakatta Ichinichi no Owari ni".
"The song is rather quiet, but nonetheless I hope you will sing with me.

The lights dimmed down and the overhead LED's twinkled like shooting stars above maya and Aiji, as the latter performed a solo at center stage, before the song ended in applause.

It had been a more quiet moment, that didn't last, as LM.C continued with their high pace, mixing new songs from their album with old favorites of their audience, clearly creating keeping up constant communication with their fans. Even more so, when maya would get close to the stage's edge and directly get in touch with the front rows, but eventually he announced the last two songs.

"The next two songs are the last!" And LM.C fans know that "last" actually means "last" so all that was left for them to do was enjoy those songs with all their heart, as the night came to a close with "LET ME' CRAZY!!" and "PUNKY♥HEART".

"The tour has just started." maya said. "Come see us again!" and Aiji added: "I noticed once again that going on tour really is fun!!" Confirming what his fans must have known all along and which might have made the good bye that night a little harder.

"This was LM.C! Peace!
